Lejewel stud is owned and run by Len and Julie Reading and we have been breeding cattle and farming since 1988 and have been breeding this great Aussie Breed since 2003 We have a passion for Square Meaters and we are dedicated to the breed and have and will remain steadfast, and adhere to a strict set of breeding objectives. that is to breed medium framed,early maturing well muscled cattle.
From the early stages our emphasis was more on the commercial side of breeding and not showing as we feel this is where the future is for us and the breed.
we are also adamant that visual appraisal is still one of the best tools and very vital to ensure structural correctness and type is obtained.
